Terms and conditions of Travel Light facility services
Meaning of the terms used in the following contract:
Luggage Deposit: This is the space solely reserved for luggage/packages, for both safekeeping and custody.
Landlord/Custodian: This is the person who leases a property and performs the required luggage storage services.
Renter/Depositor: This is the person who delivers and deposits luggage for safekeeping and custody.
2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The luggage deposit agreement is stipulated between the company ‘Travel Light, S.L.’, owner of the name ‘Travel Lockers’ and the website, www.travel-lockers.com, who accepts the deposit. Upon depositing your luggage, you accept the terms and conditions of our luggage deposit agreement, on your behalf and, or the behalf of the person who is interested in using our service, regardless of whether or not you have signed our agreement sheet. Our terms and conditions are of general application and can be modified via prior written approval. In the case of luggage storage with oral or written instructions that conflict with our terms and conditions, which have not been authorized or approved by us in writing, stated instructions will be null and void.
3 SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Our luggage storage services consist of storing your luggage in our facilities during the period designated by the agreement sheet specifically from the date and time of reception until the date and time of the scheduled collection.
4 ACCEPTED LUGGAGE UPON ARRIVAL
Upon depositing their luggage, Tenants must declare the contents assuring that nothing conflicts with point 5.
Suitcases, bags, backpacks etc. will all be accepted as long as they are within the storage capacity of each travel locker.
Each package has to be tightly sealed; ‘Travel Light’ takes no responsibility in any case to lost monies, jewelry, precious metals, business documents or valuables in genera1 as indicated in point 5. Luggage is placed in deposit at the request of the owners/representative of stated luggage and its contents, it is the faculty of ‘Travel Light’, at its own discretion, not to accept luggage in consignment.
5 PROHIBBITED LUGGAGE
The following contents are not accepted:
1.- Luggage/packages which contain flammable or deteriorable materials which emit foul odors or may cause the deterioration of the infrastructure or damage other luggage/packages.
2.-Monies, jewelry, precious metals, samples or business documents and valuables in general; Luggage/packages in poor condition may be rejected, except in special cases, where written authority has been provided by the applicant, exonerating ‘Travel Light’ from any liability in relation to the poor condition/deterioration of any deposited contents.
6 PUBLIC OPENING HOURS
Public opening hours are from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 to 21:00 WITHOUT exception.
7 FACILITY SUPERVISORS
Deposited luggage/packages are handled by the staff of ‘Travel Light’; The staff are obligated to comply and enforce the rules related to the handling and care of deposited luggage/packages.
8 ACCESS TO THE LUGGAGE FACILITY
In addition to ‘Travel Light’ employees, facility access will be granted to local bodies designated to the control and management of the provided services such as the Police, providing it has been written prior and is due to safety concerns.
Fixed rates for storage and safekeeping are provided by ‘Travel Light’ and can be seen through both our web and mobile application.
Luggage must be removed before check-out time. Otherwise, a penalty will be applied for the difference up to 24 hours.
If the booking has been made for a full day, the penalty will be an additional 24 hours. You can leave your bags at the locker during this time but don’t forget to take them before the extra charge period for penalty is over.
11 LUGGAGE/PACKAGES NOT COLLECTED
After 7 days from the date of collection established have passed, unclaimed packages are considered abandoned, and the Tenant will lose all rights to reimbursement and/or compensation; ‘Travel Light’ may proceed as its own discretion to sell, destroy or retain any of the packages/luggage contents.
12 FORGOTTEN LUGGAGE
Forgotten luggage will pertain entirely to the Tenant, including any expenses incurred; ‘Travel Light’ will return forgotten luggage/packages providing they are claimed within the stipulated period, in which the tenant must pay all shipping costs in advance according to weight, destination, carrier, etc. with a fixed minimum of 200 Euros, in addition to the total cost of the lease for the additional days.
‘Travel Light’ is not responsible for the imperfections and/or natural deterioration of luggage/packages deposited under its direct surveillance; ‘Travel Light’ cannot be held responsible for damages or losses caused by acts of god/natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, etc.
Every package/piece of luggage deposited on the premises of ‘Travel Light’ is covered by insurance up to a maximum of 150€ per package; This insurance covers any damages/losses that may occur directly attributable to ‘Travel Light’.
Insurance provided by ‘Travel Light’ will NOT cover precious stones or metals, watches, plasma/LCD screens, GPS navigators, mobile phones, computers, tablets, jewelry, monies, glass, porcelain, art pieces, antiques, documents and film, tapes, records, memory cards or any other medium that contains data or images. Breakage of luggage handles and/or wheels are not covered.
15 CONTRACT CONDITIONS AND REVISIONS
Tenants who make reservations through the webpage or mobile application accept the conditions established by this contract. ‘Travel Light’ reserves the right to modify this contract if situations arise during the course of the reservation.
